We are thrilled to introduce our first-ever Career Accelerator Retreat, an extraordinary opportunity for your child as they transition into Year 12. This transformative retreat will take place at the luxurious Vedanta Retreat Centre, specifically designed to support our Year 12 students’ personal growth, self-discovery, and career development.
Trip Details:
– Date: 2nd – 5th December 2024
– Venue: The Vedanta, Lincoln
– Cost: £395
– Registration: 17/09/2024 – 08/10/2024
This retreat is designed to help students gain clarity and insight into their future careers by learning about themselves and understanding what it means to live a life filled with purpose and drive.
To support this, we’ve curated a lineup of industry-leading professionals from diverse sectors who will share their knowledge, experiences, and wisdom with our students, guiding them toward career success.
Learn from Leading Experts Across Multiple Industries
– Corporate Life Coach: Specialising in personal and career development, the life coach will guide students on setting meaningful goals, building confidence, and navigating the path to career success in any field.
– Clinical Psychologist: Our psychologist will focus on the importance of mental well-being, stress management, and maintaining resilience in the face of challenges, essential skills for a balanced life and career.
– Associate Director, Private Equity at UBS: This guest speaker will provide an insider’s view into the finance and investment world, sharing experiences on what it takes to thrive in high-stakes corporate environments.
– Humanitarian Researcher for the Commonwealth: We are excited to welcome a distinguished guest who has worked at the United Nations, Google, and now with the Commonwealth, focusing on environmental research.
Their diverse career path will offer students a fresh perspective on finding purpose and success in global, impactful fields such as sustainability and technology.
Community Service Activity – Making an Impact
In addition to learning from these industry leaders, students will participate in a meaningful community service activity—cooking and feeding the homeless. This hands-on experience will not only deepen their understanding of their own privileges and opportunities but also enhance their university applications by highlighting their dedication to social responsibility.
Adventure and Relaxation
To balance the intensive learning sessions, students will enjoy an exciting Adventure Day at a local activity centre, where they can de-stress and engage in fun, team-building activities. The Vedanta’s luxurious amenities, including a pool and spa, will also offer students the perfect environment to relax and rejuvenate.
Registration and Parent Meeting
Registration for this retreat will open on 17th September, giving families three months to spread the cost of the trip. We understand the financial considerations involved and have set up a flexible payment plan to accommodate all families.
Before registration opens, we will hold virtual parent meetings where ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵQuest will present detailed information about the trip itinerary, guest facilitators, and the overall benefits of the retreat. These sessions will also include a Q&A segment to answer any questions you may have.
We are committed to making this retreat an enriching and accessible experience for all students, and we greatly appreciate your support in encouraging your child to take full advantage of this unique opportunity.
Warm regards,
¶¶ÒõÊÓƵQuest Team
