At Ƶ, Animal Science is a hands-on experience. As a concentration within the Agricultural Business degree, this program gives students the opportunity to work directly with cattle and swine on ATU’s 300+ acre working farm. From livestock health and nutrition to breeding and management practices, students gain real-world knowledge in animal science while building a strong foundation in agricultural business. Whether you want to manage a herd, enter animal health industries, or support sustainable livestock production, this degree is designed to prepare you for a career where agriculture and animal care meet.
ATU students in the MANRRS organization are using Gardyn, an AI-powered indoor growing system, to grow vegetables with 95% less water. The project is expanding into K–12 classrooms across Arkansas to grow food for children and inspire future ag leaders. See how ATU students are leading the way with agricultural innovation.
