Dr. Vinicius Alves Cruz

BIOGRAPHY

Vinicius Alves Cruz is a Brazilian animal scientist and has earned his bachelor's and master's degree at Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, where he was awarded a scholarship from Capes-Brazil to study abroad at North Dakota State University and University of California - Davis. Vinicius is an inducted member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and the prestigious Bouchet Graduate Honor Society. He also contributes as member for both American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) and North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA), where he was awarded the Graduate Teaching Award of Merit in 2023 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Montana State University. Vinicius has earned his Ph.D. in Animal and Poultry Sciences with concentration in ruminant nutrition and physiology and his Future Professoriate Certificate from Virginia Tech, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
