The CS program has upgraded its training equipment through the HIRED grant in partnership with ACHE, FSPS, and Peak. The collaboration creates new opportunities for shared learning between programs. High school students will receive greater instruction in cardiac anatomy and physiology, and ATU-Ozark students will have the ability to view microscopic portions of heart muscles and dissections.
The Lesley M. Krohn Memorial Endowed Scholarship has been established through the Ƶ Foundation by her father. Lesley was the program director for the registered nursing program at Ƶ-Ozark Campus before passing away on June 15, 2022. The new scholarship will benefit Ƶ-Ozark students in the licensed practical nurse to registered nursing (LPN-to-RN) program.
For Zachary Millsap, the educational process at Ƶ-Ozark Campus didn’t stop with the fundamentals of air conditioning and refrigeration. It extended into how to translate those skills into a career. Millsap aced the interview process and is now employed at Trane Technologies in Fort Smith as an HVAC service technician apprentice.
