Our mission is to emphasize and teach the importance of safety, discipline, school spirit, unity, and pride. Spirit Squads must represent the school to the highest degree and set an example of good behavior and sportsmanship at all times (in uniform or not). Within the spirit organization the two programs must support the athletics of the university and uphold an image of professionalism and spirit for the university and community. Both squads participate in pep rallies throughout the year and various campus and community related events.

ATU CHEERThe ATU Coed Cheer Team is composed of 18 scholarship athletes and walk-on athletes. ATU Cheer participates in all home games for football, basketball, and volleyball and select away games for football and basketball. |
ATU DanceThe ATU Dance Team is composed of 14 scholarship athletes. ATU Dance participates and performs at all home football and basketball games, and select away games. |
Thank you for your interest in requesting the Arkansas Tech Spirit Squad members for your event! Please send an email to spiritsquads@atu.edu detailing the following information:
-Name of Event
-Date of Event
-Time of Event
-Are you requesting Tech Cheer, Dance team, or both teams?
-What would you like ATU Spirit Squads to do during your event?
All requests must be submitted at least 7 days in advance. Once we receive your email a member of the Spirit Squad staff will be in contact with you regarding your request. At this time ATU Spirit Squads are unable to travel to events outside of the River Valley area.
Note: The Arkansas Tech Spirit Squad Program has the right to deny any appearance request. Unfortunately, every request cannot be accepted due to college students' hectic schedules.
