FACULTY LEADER
Philippe Van Houtte is a librarian at the Tech Library and the French teacher for the university. He is originally from Belgium and has traveled to many European countries such as Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, and of course, Belgium. He has taken students to France on several occasions to share the French culture, hospitality, and its wonderful food. His current program is unique: assisting teachers in their teaching of English in a junior high and high school in Enghien in exchange of free room and board. Last May’s experience in Paris was very positive and this year's is very similar. You will be staying one full month to make a strong impact on the Belgian students. You will visit Brussels and its landmarks, but also travel across the country.
