At Arkansas Governors's School, we provide three meals a day at no charge to all students via the cafeteria, offering a variety of dishes to meet dietary preferences. Please note the following regarding special food requests:
Delivery Options
All grocery or food deliveries should be addressed as follows: Baswell Techionery, (student name), 306 W. O Street, Russellville, AR 72801.
Students who have deliveries made to their dorm are breaking AGS camp rules and may be repirmanded. These procedures are in place for your safety.
All deliveries should be scheduled to coincide with student free time. It is not the camp staffs responsibility to receive deliveries for students.
Note: Students are allowed to have their cell phones, but will be asked to have them on silent or off during class time. It is a best practice to know your students class schedule. The best method of contacting your student is to contact them directly. The AGS office is not open after hours and the phone will not be answered. Voicemails are returned on the next business day.
For emergencies, you should first try to contact your student directly via a personal cell phone. During regular business hours you may call the AGS Camp Office (479-968-0391) or Business Office (479-356-2037). and we will try to locate your student.
If you are unable to reach AGS staff or your student and it is a true emergency, please call Ƶ Public Safety at (479) 968-0222 (This number patches the caller into the campus public safety radio network, and is strictly for “life or death” emergencies). Please note that ATU's Public Safety Officers can neither take after-hour messages for the student or AGS Office nor pass on messages to AGS students, faculty, or staff.
The Ƶ Post Office is open: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
All student packages are retrieved from the post office by AGS staff and may be picked up in the AGS Camp Office located in Baswell Techionery, Room 202, during regular office hours.
